Up & Coming Artists
COMING SOON
David Banegas’ artistic journey began at a young age. When he was just 11 years old, he had his first collective exhibition in Campo Grande, Brazil. His early artwork consisted mostly of self-portraits and images that were true to life.
Over the years, David’s style has evolved and become more abstract. He now focuses on creating paintings that evoke emotion and tell a story, rather than simply depicting what he sees. His artwork has been featured in many prestigious galleries and museums, and he has won numerous awards for his work.
At age 12, David Perez painted a portrait of Bolivian President Hugo Banzer. The president was so impressed with the painting that he awarded David the opportunity to study privately with Masaiko Fujjita, an experienced and respected art teacher from Japan. For two years, David worked diligently under Fujjita’s tutelage, learning how to paint landscapes, florals, and buildings using unique brush techniques.
